Hi Anna,

you can access the MC truth origin of a reco particle by something like

  fAnalysis->FillList(muons, "MuonAll");
  ...
  RhoCandidate *truth = muons[i]->GetMcTruth();

  if (truth!=0)
  {
    TVector3 trueOrigin = truth->Pos();
    ...
  }

if this is what you meant.
