Dear DCH experts,

I have one question for preparing kalman fitting and dch Kalman task
A function of PndDchPrepareKalmanTracks() creates and initializes Tracks and is a pre-step for genfit and kalman task can be made with function PndDchKalmanTask().

There are 2 different version with PndDchKalmanTask and PndDchKalmanTask2.
Is there some historical reason for preparing two different function with different name?
I think version 2 is the default and much better to use.
Could you confirm about it?

Thank you

Hi,

the reason for having two different versions of those classes is indeed historical, but it has some sense. The classes without number work on LSLTrackRep, while the ones with suffix "2" work on GeaneTrackRep. Indeed, you should be using the latter, so you guessed right.

cheers,
ola
