The date for the next CBMROOT release is scheduled for 30 June 2009. The release branch will be decoupled from trunk on 15 June 2009. After this date, no new features will be included into the release. Only bug fixes will be allowed.
Please schedule your software development such that features you would like to have included in the release are in the repository by 15 June 2009.
Feel free to use this topic to indicate or discuss any issue which should be considered in the context of the release.

The release branch JUN09 was created at revision 5842.
It can be checked out by
svn co https://subversion.gsi.de/fairroot/cbmroot/release/JUN09
The relase is coupled to the external packages version jul08, so before configuring at GSI with cmake, the variable SIMPATH must be set to
export SIMPATH=/misc/cbmsoft/[SYSTEM]/jul08/fairsoft
where SYSTEM can be Sarge32, Sarge64, Etch32 or Etch64.
Please test this release version and report bugs and problems to this topic.
