Hello together,

these days I work together with Dmitry Khaneft (he is new to Panda) from Mainz on the implementation of the emc backward end cap designs proposed by the Mainz group. We will use the CadConverter to convert the step files into PANDAroot geometry description. Dmitry installed OpenCascade successfully on his Debian Etch box following the documentation in the Wiki. But configuring the converter itself complains about

./configure: line 2006: cd: occ_includes: No such file or directory
configure: error: unknown version

Do you have any hints for us? The full error message and the configure command with applied flags is attached to this posting.

Cheers and thanks in advance for all your efforts,
Marc

You have to set the variable CASROOT to your [OpenCascade]/ros folder and run the script env.csh (or .ksh) in this folder to configure the OpenCascade environment.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Tobias
