Dear all,
After the meeting on Monday 08/09, I have set up two new sub-wikis to start working on the short-term goals that we
set ourselves:
1) Standardize hardware connectivity early. To add items and links to documentation to the a list of suggested/supported hardware devices, connectivity and drivers, go directly to http://nuclear.gla.ac.u/DCS/interactiveTable.php?name=Hardware
2) Establish an Idea Bank. Contribute your ideas as early as you can in http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/view/DCS/IdeaBank
Explanations and usage instructions are included on the web pages above.
And of course, I would like to remind everyone that we have to finish filling the preliminary list of values/devices to be monitored/controlled. To contribute, even if you don't have the values for all the columns in the table, go to http://nuclear.gla.ac.uk/DCS.
Most important at this point is to be able to an estimate for total number of channels.
