Dear colleagues,
as, thanks to the help of Lia and Susanna, we have sucessfully mated GEANE to GENFIT we can proceed with the tracking:
- Clean up details in GeaneTrackRep (debug output, PID...)
- Get the tracklength of a extrapolation (for TOF, dEdx...)
- Try GeaneTrackRep with arbitrarily oriented detector planes (MVD Barrel!!)
- Implement a SpacePointRecoHit
- Expand the docu in the Wiki: http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/view/Computing/GenFit
I will work on this list next week again.
What should be done as soon as possible, is to try to fit the MVD Barrel detectors. You just have to specify the correct DetPlanes. GeaneTrackRep should be able to handle them.
