Hi!

Tobias yesterday showed me how to use the eclipse development platform to work comfortably on our code. I installed it myself and made a small tutorial on that in the wiki: Using Eclipse

Have fun! There are a lot of features there, so it would be great if you could contribute any experience that you make in the wiki, so that otrhers can profit from your findings!

Cheers! Sebastian.

Hi,

I am using it also! So I can say the plugin for CMake is very useful if you would like to work this way. The following link explain in details how to do this:

http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/CMake:Eclipse_UNIX_Tutorial

and with the next release of cmake (2.6.0) one can use "Eclipse CDT4 Generator" from cmake to generate eclipse projects directly!

Hi all,

I have added a short description on how to use doxygen with eclipse on the wiki side.

Cheers,

Hi,

just for info, cmake 2.6 is released, this version support creation of CDT4 projects and can generate them directly for Eclipse:

in a build directory you can call:

cmake -G "Eclipse CDT4 - Unix Makefiles" PATHtoPANDAROOT

have fun!
