Dear all,

we will postpone the release of Vers. 2.0 for a few days.

On the EVO meting next week (Nov 14) we will discuss, what is final, and what maybe not, and then decide what is inside the release (one point is that the release - among other objectives - also intended to be "stable", so we have to find the right compromise between what is new and what is stable).

If you already have the impression, that your code is ready, it would be nice if you just post a reply (i.e. even before the meeting) so that some of us can already try. Mohammad will already prepare the directories (svn path as discussed, "release/pandaroot/2_0_0").

For the already existing flowcharts, see
http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/view/Computing/PandaRootV2

Talk to you all next week.

Soeren

Hello,
the class names of the passive directory were changed according to the PndXXX convention.
I changed the macros in run and emc to deal with the new names, but for the rest of the detectors you should update your code, just substituting Cbm with Pnd for the Cave and the Pipe volumes.

Meanwhile even the drc (thanks to Annalisa) and the muo directories have the new name convention. For the emc Dima has changed the names several months ago so it is ok, as well as dch tof and pgenerators.

In field there are still some classes that should be changed. I did it in my private code, but I found that all the field maps in pandaroot/input are saved as CbmFieldMapData, so one should convert those files before applying the modifications in the repository.

Bye

Hello all,

I just changed the names for the Mvd classes to the PndMvdXX scheme. Please note that I'm only able to change the macros in macro/mvd.

Ciao, Ralf.
