Dear all,
there will be a PandaRoot EVO meeting
next WEDNESDAY, Oct 24, 2007, 14:00-16:00
(audio testing from 13:30).
Maybe we all noticed that there might be sufficient topics/issues to discuss.
Tentative Agenda:
1.) new external packages
maybe most important question:
when?
i.e. shall we prepare vers. 2.0 for the old (i.e. Jan07) external packages?
(i.e. Stefano's and Johan's proposal)
proposal:
let's go through
all the "problems"
(overlaps - minor or major problem?, vmc 2.3 or 2.4?,
g4 crashes in 32-bit but not 64-bit?),
all pro/contra arguments (e.g. geane) and
all "humble" opinions,
and try to find the best compromise/solution.
2.) Tobias' remarks about nomenclature.
in short (simplified) words: i.e. is a cluster a hit?
(this might actually be a long discussion).
also:
class names
PndXxxSomething
-> too much work to change for some packages?
3.) recent tutorial problems
4.) TMVA for PID?
(see Johan's post
http://forum.gsi.de/index.php?t=tree&th=1578&start=0&rid=0&a mp;S=8596c285674f92d9125c2b69f5e70cbf
)
5.) anything else?
(please feel free to propose additions to the agenda)
Talk to you then.
Soeren and Johan
