In a recent CBM DAQ/Trigger meeting Prof. Udo Kebschull from KIP Heidelberg presented some interesting usage modes of the internal configuration interface of Xilinx Virtex FPGAs. One highlight is to make the FPGA resources transparently accessible via a Linux /proc file system.

The presentation is accessible from the CBM Document Management.
