Hello,
this message is to inform you that we have released to CERN the updated version of GEANE (Fortran code) and that the routines are now available through the VMC cvs repository.
The link to the cvs viewer is: http://root.cern.ch/viewcvs/?cvsroot=GEANT3
To use them it is necessary to update the transport/geant3 directory in your cbmsoft tree: in this directory you will also find a new README file that summarizes all the changes to the code. I also attach this README to this message.
It is already possible to use them, but perhaps it is better to wait for the new C++ interface before trying them...
In any case, let let us know in case of problems or suggestions.
