are there already experiences with the new GEANT4 versions,
i.e. 4.6.0 or 4.6.1?

Hi,

if you're going to use the GEANT version 4.6.0, be aware that there's
a bug in the physics lists (multiple scattering is calculated wrong).
You should make sure to use the updated physics list from
http://cmsdoc.cern.ch/~hpw/GHAD .

Hi all,

I discovered a bug in GEANT4.6.1 when trying to switch of
several physics processes. I reported it to GEANT4 bugzilla, and
(btw really quick) the status is

Hi,

After discussion with Olaf I updated now the Packaging version in Geant4.6.0.
New Packaging version is 2.5.1, taken from
http://cmsdoc.cern.ch/~hpw/GHAD/HomePage/
new packaging libraries have been created for
both compiler versions.
This should possibly solve the Physics list bugs mentioned by Olaf.
