Dear Chamberbuilders,
Jörg pointed out that the AW106 should be mixed with the hardener in a 100:100 ratio in VOLUME not weight.
Since I inherited the 1:1 mixing by weight and never questioned it, I also wrote this into the Chamber construction manual.
If mixing by weight the ratio should be:
Aw106 : HV953
100 : 80
As far as I could find out from information on the web the difference should probably not matter very much, as the mixing ration is in fact variable to get different results in flexibility (100:60-120). different mixing rations could however result in different amounts of outgassing.
Just as reference:
The mixing ratio of aw116 is correct in the chamber construction manual:
Aw116: HV953
100 : 50 (by weight)
cheers,
Clemens
