Dear all,

I am trying to install PandaRoot on Kronos, by using the pre-installed versions of FairRoot and FairSoft.
For the analysis I use these version of the code:

FairSoft may16p1
FairRoot v-16.06b
PandaRoot release feb17p1
ROOT version 5

when I try to compile it with make, I get this error:

[ 97%] Built target PndEventDisplay
[ 97%] Linking CXX shared library ../lib/libPid.so
[ 97%] Built target LmdSensorAligner
[ 98%] Built target LmdTrk
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lRecoTasks
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lRecoHits
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgenfitAdapters
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ltrackrep
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
pid/CMakeFiles/Pid.dir/build.make:934: recipe for target 'lib/libPid.so.0.0.0' failed
make[2]: *** [lib/libPid.so.0.0.0] Error 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:6763: recipe for target 'pid/CMakeFiles/Pid.dir/all' failed
make[1]: *** [pid/CMakeFiles/Pid.dir/all] Error 2
make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
[ 98%] Built target LmdTool
Makefile:138: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2

Do you have any idea where this error come from and how can I fix it?

With the best regards,

Solmaz

Dear Solmaz,

We decided to move on to ROOT6. Please use the according FairSoft/FairRoot release.

Cheers!
Ralf
