Dear all,
a new release of FairSoft packages (formerly "external packages") has been created and tested (mar15), as well as a new tag of FairRoot (v-15.03).
These are now the suggested version of the code for development, I have updated the wiki page and also the installation instructions.
I have tested them with PandaRoot trunk 27294 under Ubuntu 14.04, 14.10 and under Yosemite, for both Geant3 and Geant4. All of them give comparable results, under Mac and G4 there is some discrepancy in pid detectors which has to be understood.
Soon I will create a panda root release for analysis working with them, and remove the base packages link from svn.
