Dear all,
as we discussed in the SeeVogh meeting this morning, the new pandaroot release scrut14 is born, from svn release mar14. This will be the "development" release for the scrutiny campaign. It will be continuously updated with new developments and improvements in the analysis and fast simulation parts, while the general reconstruction part will remain mostly untouched. Use it only if you want to have the most updated results.

In order to download it:

svn co https://subversion.gsi.de/fairroot/pandaroot/release/scrut14

Hi Stefano,

somehow something is wrong with the release. If I call cmake from the build directory I get

-- Looking for Root... - Not found
CMake Error at cmake/modules/FindROOT.cmake:97 (Message):
ROOT not installed in the searchpath and ROOTSYS is not set. Please set
ROOTSYS or add the path to your ROOT installation in the Macro
  FindROOT.cmake in the subdirectory cmake/modules.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  CMakeLists.txt:116 (find_package)

This is not the case when I check out trunk, there cmake works as usual. I actually don't know how to fix this.

Best,
Klaus

Are you sure you properly set your SIMPATH?

I did exactly the same with trunk and scrut14, and for trunk it worked, for scrut14 not. Did you try already yourself checking out and compiling?

Ok, found the bug, there is some buggy CMakeLists.txt checked in, somebody simply should delete line 7 in the global CMakeLists.txt.

Scrut14 fixed, but mar14 seems fine.
