The newest EvtGen is now in the PandaRoot trunk version.

It would be nice if there are some people who can test it.

By default, the new version is not enabled right now.
To enable it you have to change two lines in the main CMakelist file: Comment the EvtGenDirect line and change the EvtGen to EvtGenNew. then, clear your built directory (or at least its lib directory) and rebuild.

Be aware that by default an updated version of DECAY.DEC and evt.pdl are used.
A newer version of photos and pythia are used now in evtgen. this could affect your decay files esp if you use pythia.
