Subject: CHEF2013 - Calorimetry for High Energy Frontier
Dear colleagues,
The CHEF 2013 Conference on Calorimetry for High Energy Frontier will be
held in Paris, France, 22-25 April 2013. The main objectives of the
conference are to provide opportunities to present recent developments in
calorimetry geared toward application at upgraded or future colliding beam
facilities, as well as to review the performance of calorimeters operating
in past and present hadron colliders. The scope will be broadened with
special sessions on calorimetry developments at other frontiers of
particle and astroparticle physics, as well as on transversal applications
in society. This conference features Geant4 as the main simulation engine.
For details see the web-page of the conference
http://llr.in2p3.fr/chef2013/
Scientists can submit abstracts at
http://llr.in2p3.fr/chef2013/abstract.php
The abstracts will be forwarded to and reviewed by the session conveners
who will manage the allocated session time. Paper proceedings will be
published shortly after the conference by Les Editions de l'Ecole
Polytechnique.
The registration has just started on Monday 21st January. Students and
postdocs with less than 2 years after their PhD are offered a reduced
registration fee.
Deadline of abstract submission is tentatively set to end of February.
Kind Regards,
Makoto
