Hi,
I have tried to install the trunk external packages in my brand new Ubuntu 12.04.
In this case it seems geant3 is properly taken from svn, but Pythia6 does not compile:

Hi Stefano,

please remove the option -fno-seconond-underscore from the CMakeLists.txt. This option is not present any longer.

Ciao

Florian

Hi Florian,
I have solved the problem cmemnting out in file generators/CMakeLists.txt_pythia6 the following lines:

#Set_Source_Files_Properties(${Pythia_FSRCS} PROPERTIES COMPILE_FLAGS
# ${UnderScoreString})

Unfortunately with the problem of geant3 svn I cannot go further in compilation. Let's wait...

Hi,
it seems to work (now that I can download the trunk).
I have noticed that the file CMakeLists.txt_pythia6 is existing only in the trunk but not in jan12. Is it really needed? If not, I would propose to take it out, or to take out the "problematic" lines from the trunk version.
