Hello!
Please tell me how can I set maximum step length for particles (geantino) transport through geometry. I use standard macro runMC.C and Geant3 as VMC.

Hallo Artem,

In Geant3 this can be done via media and not particles, see:

http://fairroot.gsi.de/?q=node/34

you can set the maxstep size for a certain material and then it is valid for all particles passing this media, you should be carfull when using this because fit could produce non-physical results (energy loss calculation is effected!)

regards,

Mohammad
