Hi again,

ok so the gsi linux service desk gave me an answer, and apparently the different gcc environments were not available globally (via nfs or others). I was just curious why the default login node (lxi001) runs on 32bit but the cluster has only 64bit libs it can work with. Well anyhow, if I understood correctly these 32bit libs will also be available soon though. Not that one needs them when working on 64bit login nodes right away...
