Problem building external packages Jan12 [message #13105]

Hi
I tried several times now to compile the recent external-packages, checked out from repositiory, release/jan12
After an hour or so of compiling i get the error message attached below, obviously there is a problem building the VGM package. (or maybe already building Geant4 ??)

Any idea ?
I checked the prerequisites, but they look fine.

Any idea what is going wrong here ???

I tried the older versions now,
both Feb11 and May11 compile without problems.
The problem only occurs with the latest release.

Noone any ideas ?

I found the problem:

There is a bug in the cmake-script in

fairsoft/transport/vgm/cmake/FindGeant4.cmake

in line 17,
it must be: ${GEANT4_DIR}/bin
instead of: $GEANT4_DIR/bin

The file is unpacked only during installation from
fairsoft/transport/vgm_cmake.tar.gz

After changing that it compiles without further problems.

Hi Christian,

thanks for reporting the problem. I found the same problem and solution yesterday and fix it already. The newest version from the repository should work now without problems.
