In order to make the CBM field maps available also for users who do not have a GSI account, they have been put into the SVN repository:

https://subversion.gsi.de/fairroot/cbmroot/fieldmaps

We chose not to put them in the input directory of the cbmroot source in order to avoid that the field maps will be duplicated on each new revision or development branch. So, after having checked out the field maps to a directory of your choice, you need to put proper soft links into the input directory.

In the GSI cluster, the field maps are installed in

/misc/cbmsoft/cbmroot/fieldmaps

You can copy them into your input directory or link to them.

(Revisions 13742 and 13760)
