Dear analysts (short term and long term),

the fitting problem in the TPC code has been solved! Please update trunk/tpc/tpcreco. It was related to a bug in the automatic determination of the PDG id inside the Riemann pattern recognition.

Furthermore, no rough z-alignment during reconstruction should be necessary anymore with the recent TPC digi revisions (also the one installed on the grid), and hence correlation with other detectors should work "out of the box" using the tasks

PndTpcMVDCorrelatorTask
PndTpcGEMCorrelatorTask

(see macro/run/tdrct/reco_template.C)

Please try and provide feedback so we can also start it on the grid soon! Please also have a look at the provided residual plots from MVD/GEM extrapolation and let me know how they look!

Cheers

Felix
