Hi,
I have tried to run 500 events at GSI, using lenny 64bit machines, and I had no problems.
Probably your crash is connected to the "trunk" external packages that you are using, and not the standard "jan10" ones (or at least this seems to us after a discussion on your problem at the EVO meeting of this morning).
