Hello,

In Geant, there is a cut-off for the kinetic energy of the produced delta electrons, below which only a continuous energy loss for the impinging ions is accounted for. The standard cut is put to 1 MeV in gconfig/SetCuts.C by gMC->SetCuts("DCUT", 1.0E-3). I decreased this cut down to 10 keV, but I see no difference in the produced yield of delta electrons (no acceptance accounted for). Could it be that the value of the cut is overwritten later on in the code?

Best regards, Selim
