Ion beam
https://forum.gsi.de/index.phpindex.php?t=rview&goto=19403&th=4935#msg_19403
did anybody use the heavy ion beam (124Xe, for example) to run the simulations?
With cylindrical (X, Y) profile or gauss-like?
It would be nice to have the script or a part of it.
I hope with activation of:
/R3B/phys/addPhysics elastic
/R3B/phys/addPhysics ion_inclxx
G4 will make the elastic scattering events.
Thanks, Oleg. ]]>Oleg2016-08-04T13:06:09-00:00Re: Ion beam

I am aware only of simulations for background studies with ion beam, performed by Ken Miki. He indeed used ion_inclxx, and qgsp_bert (last for nuclear reactions).
He has prepared a detailed documentation in form of wiki page. Konstanze should know its location.

do you know about this report/description?
Konstanze is out up to 22.08.
