new release pandaroot: "may11"
https://forum.gsi.de/index.phpindex.php?t=rview&goto=11865&th=3193#msg_11865
I created a new release of pandaroot, named "may11". This release was created from trunk revision 11990, and will be used to start the simulation production for the tracking TDR studies. Furthermore, the "stable" branch has been updated accordingly. The new release can be obtained via svn:
The installation of this release on all the grid sites (package "pandaroot::may11", which depends on "panda_extern::may11") is now in progress....

The may11 release (and stable) has been updated to fix the problems related to the TPC geometry and the MVD digitization. It is now compatible with trunk revision 12046. This version will be installed on the GRID very soon.

but there was a missing fix on the TPC code side. I am really sorry, but this should also be included. We're testing it now, I will give you the signal later.
I guess that's what happens in a situation like this. I apologize.

The may11 release has recently been updated. At present, it is merged COMPLETELY with the trunk revision 12392. Also, the GRID software has been updated accordingly (pandaroot::may11). Although, the original plan was to only update the STT and TPC reconstruction, we decided to make a complete upgrade after checking with developers of the other packages. The reason for this move was that we have some more time before doing the full mix-event analysis. We will, therefore, re-run the background simulations on the grid. At the moment, we are running new signal event simulations (for each channel 100k): http://panda-wiki.gsi.de/cgi-bin/view/Computing/TDR11

May11 release (and stable) has been updated with the latest fixed from Gianluigi and Felix. It is now compatible with rev. 12405. Meanwhile, this version is being installed on the Grid, replacing the older may11 release.

there is a severe bug in the digitization of SDS code in revision 12331. So revision 12405 does not work properly for the MVD pixel part.
Ralf and I am testing a solution at the moment and inform you immediately once it is working.

May11 release has been updated with the bugfixes reported by Tobias and Gianluigi. Presently compatible with revision 12414. STT signal simulations are running right now with the code. Most of it has finished already and can be downloaded from the Grid.

I just made an update of the may11 release. Here are its features:
* base and all that: back to rev. 12414; (e.g. NOT including latest features such as event mixing and setting time stamps after simulation)
* genfit and all that: rev 334 (=present revision used in trunk);
* mvd, sds, pnddata, PndTools: rev 12447; (problems with latest mvd stuff in trunk);
* rest: presently head, e.g. rev. 12556 (also includes building of ftof lib and ftof in rootlogon).
* tdr macros: updated to rev 12563.
Feel free to test it. We hope to run this release (after some testing) on the grid one of the upcoming days.

The may11 release with the latest updates (see previous message) is now installed on the various GRID sites (or in process of being installed). Note that the previous package has been replaced!
